The QRH Skiff Trapeze Harness is unique. Over a two year development process Gill analyzed how a harness could give you significantly better support, and this is the result. The revolutionary 4900 with the unique quick release hook is literally a lifesaver. This harness is compliant to US Sailing rule 40.2, stating that from January 1, 2006 'all trapeze harnesses shall be capable of quickly releasing when in use'. Gill incorporates the RWO 'QRH' Quick Release Hook which is a push button quick release mechanism. The release can be activated when the hook is under pressure and it also works facing up or down. Gill has combined these features with an advanced support system making it, in Gill's view, the most advanced harness on the market.
